Sorry for the lack of updates everyone, but we've been extremely busy keeping up with everything. We've been working extensively on updating the back end of our website. We hope that this update will fix a lot of bugs and will clear up some aesthetic issues that customers have been having.
We've also received several orders of new product and haven't been able to get the items online yet; so if you're local to the area be sure to drop by and check out some of our latest products!
In other news, our storefront in Cornelius is going to be getting a major overhaul in the coming months. As many of you know, we've been sharing our retail location with the owners first business, Martin Glass, but now Martin Glass is moving out completely, and Airsoft Outlet Northwest will occupy the entire building. This means that we'll be able to provide more product lines, wider selection, an open space, and whatever else seems appropriate.
We thank you all for your continued support, and hope to see you in the future!
Aug 11 PTS MASADA Update: We've just received a notice that the MAGPUL PTS MASADA will be released soon in very limited numbers. The first run will only include Black and Flat Dark Earth models and availability will be scarce nationwide. Our pre-order will only be partially fulfilled with two models in each color, so be sure to grab one if you can!

First off we just placed our pre-order for the MAGPUL PTS MASADA, and we're told that the new conservative ETA is the end of September or early October. The first model available will be the 5.56 variant in Black, Tan, and Foliage, which we'll be getting all three. The suggested MSRP will be $475, but expect them to go for as low as $450. Let's not forget about the KWA LM4. It seems that KWA is the only company that sees the potential of GBB carbines and has been working hard to provide a completely legal Airsoft M4 Gas Blow Back carbine. Recently I talked to Allen Lau over at KWA USA and asked him what he thought of the recent crackdowns on GBB M4's (If you weren't aware the Airsoft M4 GBB Carbines by WE, WA, and JG have all been deemed illegal by the ATF). Allen said it wasn't surprising that the ATF was seizing Airsoft gas blowback carbines because no company is taking the time to ensure their GBB M4 is ATF compliant. KWA on the otherhand is taking the time to work closely with the ATF on the LM4, and has been modifying their GBB M4 accordingly. Although the LM4 does not have an ETA, the result will be a high performance, 100% legal, gas operated Airsoft M4. Finally, the amazingly popular Nike Special Field Boot has been impossible to keep in stock, and from what we've been told there won't be a resupply until October. The good news is that Nike recognizes the popularity of the SFB and will try to allot additional funds to the SFB project after the fiscal year. This may mean that we'll see a new line of tactical products from Nike starting late 2010/early 2011. We'll update you as soon as we know more.

Spartan Imports, who is the exclusive distributor of MAGPUL PTS products, has sent out a newsletter with exclusive pictures of the PTS MASADA . Although there are a lot of pictures out there this shows that the distributor has them in their possession, and a release date should be announced soon. More pics below.

We've been anticipating these releases from KWA since we initially covered their booth at the 2010 SHOT Show. The wait is finally over for the KWA KM4 SR7 DEVGRU and the series of modern M1911's that includes the MKI, MKII in Black and Tan, MKIII, and MKIV in Black and OD. All of these outstanding replicas are definitely, as KWA says, "engineered to outperform". I know i've already fallen in love with the MKIV in olive drab and am debating picking one up myself. So, if you're in the market for a 1911 or even an M4 then be sure to give these a look.

Lately we've been getting a lot of questions about MAGPUL's PTS ACR and its release date. Rumors are circulating and no one has been able to give a definitive answer to when it will be released. So I decided to email MAGPUL-PTS in Hong Kong and ask for some more details and this is what they said: "Dear Ben, Thanks for your effort about the announcement at the 2010 Shot Show. The first batch of the ACR (both Black and Dark Earth) will be available at around mid July, details announcement will be made shortly. Best Regards, Robert Lam"

Written by Benjamin Martin I know as well as anyone about the importance of having good boots in the field. I served in the Marines for four years and had a wide range of boots issued to me, combat boots, jungle boots, desert boots, steel toed boots, you name it. My search for the ideal combative footwear has been ongoing since I left active duty; I've tried a variety from Danner, Belleville, and of late the Oakley Gatling 8". Although the Gatling is extremely rugged and comfortable, the term "Moon Boot" comes to mind each time I wear them because they make me feel sluggish and clumsy. Fortunately enough my search was cut short when one of our good customers, who works for Nike, informed us of Nike's release of their Special Field Boot (SFB). After some initial testing he helped us become a vendor and soon enough I was wearing the SFB's around the shop. It was hard not to notice how extremely comfortable they were from just walking around the store, they actually felt more like a shoe rather then a boot, and their non-fatiguing soles (based off the Nike Free technology which tries to emulate barefoot running) helped when I was on my feet for extended periods. Some people say that if you're new to the Nike Free technology that you should allow your foot some time to get used to the added flexibility, but I didn't notice a needed break in period for the SFB aside from stretching the sides to fit my wide foot. Last Sunday (5/16) I was finally able to christen my Desert Tan Nike Special Field Boots in Airsoft Pacific's Operation: Thunderstrike which was held at Splat Action in Molalla, OR. Splat Action is simply a wide cut of woods with a variety of large hills, cold creeks, muddy trails, and killer bunkers. Although my main purpose was to be a Platoon commander, my secondary objective was to test the SFB to see if it matched my expectations.

The long wait is finally over! Echo1 AEGs have been hard to get for months because of crackdowns on Airsoft factories by the PRC. Since December 2009 supplies and availability have been dwindling on many of the popular models, but now a limited supply of Echo1 guns are now back on the shelves, and just in time for summer. With multiple models in stock now, including the standard Stag-15 M4A1 and Stag-15 M16A4, we'll have your needs covered for the Summer gaming season! We currently have in stock the Stag-15 series, which includes the M16VN, M4A1, Full Metal M4A1, and the M4 Rail Carbine with Fixed Stock. We also still have the M14 SOCOM 16 in stock as well. The Task Force Black series is also available including the Mk5 SD6 Blowback, the full metal Mk5A4, and the Mk5A5. We also have the AK47 Red Star with real wood furniture, and the popular AK47 CPW. Airsoft season is getting into full swing, so be sure to come by the store or check the website and find an AEG to get outside and get playing!

Written by Benjamin Martin Edited by Adam BowerWhen you meet someone new and try to explain to them what Airsoft is, what do you say? "Airsoft..." - are those clear spring guns to shoot vermin with
- is just another game my friends and I play in the backyard
- is like Paintball
- is Military Simulation
- is a training tool
Regardless of what you say, the fact of the matter is that our humble Airsoft industry is slowly emerging into the limelight and is attracting a lot of attention, not only from the media and general public, but from the firearms industry as well. Granted, some may look at this as a "coming of age" for Airsoft while others see it as trouble on the horizon.

Real Sword is one of the smaller airsoft manufacturers, with less than a dozen different models in their AEG line. However, they have developed a reputation as one of the top tier manufacturers when it comes to realism and quality. Their detailed replicas are constructed of steel and real wood. While other manufacturers use some steel parts and some alloy or aluminum parts, the Real Sword Type 56 and Type 56-1 are constructed fully of steel. Every external part that is not wood is steel, from the barrel to the sling swivel to the charging handle and receiver. Because of this dedication to quality, Real Sword AEGs feel more like real guns than almost any other production AEG. Currently Real Sword's offerings include a line of Kalashnikov style Type 56 Chinese rifles, a pair of SVD models, and the Chinese Bullpup Type 97 and Type 97-B.

Just as a quick update: we've received the highly anticipated Classic Army LWRC M6A2 PSD today, and our initial impressions are "WOW!" Your opponent will think twice when you unleash full auto with 11.1 volts because the PSD sounds like it's spitting hate and discontent behind a wall of 6mm bb's. Not only will you stop and turn heads on the field, but you'll rest assured that you're getting the very best in Classic Army quality. The CA LWRC PSD boasts some beefy 8mm bearings, has a newly designed hop up unit, and runs the Classic Army ABS system. If you're looking for a top tier Airsoft gun then be sure to give the CA M6A2 PSD serious consideration. Oh, and as if choosing was hard, Classic Army is throwing in a free 32" hard gun case with this first production run... LWRC BLACK M6A2 PSD
